   Registration

   Registration may be done on-line, by mail or by fax. Competitor tickets will be held at the door for pickup. Payments may be made by credit card using the PayPal service if you register on-line or you may send payments to:

      * Canada DanceSport will not be responsible for the loss or damage to property or persons in connection with the Canada DanceSport competition. Competitors must agree to abide by all the rules and regulations governing this event. In addition, Competitors must agree that Canada DanceSport may use any still or video photographs taken in promotional material without any further notification.


   The Cost for IDSF - Amateur Events

   All competitors must purchase a competitor weekend pass that includes general seating and entitles entry into two events. This pass is valid for all three days of the competition.

  • $50+GST/person for Adults and Youth
  • $30+GST/person for Junior and Juvenile
   More than two events can be entered for a fee of $10+GST/couple for each additional event.

  GST (Goods and Service Tax) is 5%

   If you choose to purchase a weekend spectator ticket package which would provide seating in a preferred location, then the competitor weekend pass fee will be waived.

  Juvenile/Junior competitors must be accompanied by an adult to participate in this event. All accompanying parties of competitors including parents or guardians must purchase a spectator's ticket.


   The Cost for Pro-Am and Amateur American Events

   GST (Goods and Service Tax) is 5%

   Competitors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult to participate in this event. All accompanying parties of competitors, including parents or guardians, must purchase a spectator's ticket.


   Payment

   Payment may be made by credit card (if registering on-line) using the PayPal service,
or by cheque or money order (in Canadian funds) made out to "Canada DanceSport". Registration and payment must be received by September 1st, 2008. Payments received after this date will be considered a late registration.


   Late Registration

   Late registrations will be accepted until September 7th, 2008 but a $5+GST/person additional fee for late registration will apply. After this date registrations may be allowed but only if they do not affect the schedule. In addition, competitor names for late registrants may not be listed in the printed program.


   Cancellation and Refund Policy

   Full refunds will be provided for cancellations received before the September 1st, 2008 closing date. Cancellations received a minimum of 7 days before the competition will receive a 75% refund. Cancellations received less than 7 days before the competition will not be refunded.

16th to 18th birthday by December 31, 2008
One partner must reach his/her 19th birthday by December 31, 2008
Both partners must reach their 35th birthday by December 31, 2008
Both partners must reach their 45th birthday by December 31, 2008
Both partners must reach their 55th birthday by December 31, 2008
   Youth couples are allowed to participate in adult competitions. In all age sections one partner of a couple may be younger, except in Seniors.
