   Canada DanceSport Registration 2009

   All Canada DanceSport 2009 competitors are encouraged to register online, through the Online Onsite Competition Manager (O2CM) software prior to our August 31, 2009 registration closing date. Payments may also be made online by credit card using the PayPal service, also prior to August 31, 2009.

   If you've never used PayPal before, that's okay. You can establish a PayPal account in just a few minutes. Follow the simple PayPal online instructions:

  • Open a PayPal account
  • Click the "Send" tab
  • Enter registration2009@canadadancesport.com in the "To" window
  • Enter the amount and click the "Services" button
  • Follow the credit card instructions

   If it is not possible for you to register online, please mail your completed registration form with your payment (cheque or money order) in Canadian funds made payable to "Canada DanceSport" so that it is received by August 31, 2009 to:

   Canada DanceSport will not be responsible for the loss or damage to property or persons in connection with the Canada DanceSport competition. Competitors must agree to abide by all the rules and regulations governing this event. In addition, Competitors must agree that Canada DanceSport may use any still or video photographs taken in promotional material without any further notification.

   IDSF - Amateur Information

   Cost

   All prices include the 5% GST

   All Amateur events cost $10 per event per couple. However all amateur competitors must purchase a separate Competitor Weekend Ticket that entitles them to enter any of the IDSF - Amateur events and to sit in the reserved competitor general seating section throughout the three day competition.

  • $50 per person for Adults and Youth
  • $30 per person for Junior and Juvenile

   Youth couples are allowed to participate in adult competitions. In all age levels, one partner of a couple may be younger, except in Senior.

   Competitor Reserved General Seating

   The reserved competitor general seating section offers excellent views of the competition dance floor, however if a competitor would like to purchase a weekend spectator ticket package for preferred table seating around the dance floor or in the stands, then the amateur competitor weekend ticket fee will be waived.

   Juvenile/Junior competitors must be accompanied by an adult to participate in an event. All accompanying parties of competitors including parents or guardians must purchase a spectator's ticket.

   Pro-Am American and Pro-Am International Information

   Cost

   All prices include the 5% GST and entitle competitors to sit in the reserved competitor general seating section throughout the three day competition.

   Pro-Pro Information

   Cost

   Payment for all CDS 2009 Events

   Payment may be made by credit card (if registering online) using the PayPal service, or by cheque or money order (in Canadian Funds) made payable to "Canada DanceSport". Registration and payment must be received by our August 31, 2009 registration closing date.


   Late Registration

   Late registrations will not be accepted. Once the program is locked it will be impossible to include late applicants. Make sure you submit your entries early.


   Cancellation and Refund Policy

   Full refunds will be provided for cancellations received prior to the August 31, 2009 registration closing date. Cancellations received a minimum of 7 days before the competition will receive a 75% refund. Cancellations received less than 7 days before the competition will not be refunded.

   Transportation Information - Toronto Airport to Kingston

   Bus Option - Toronto Airport to Kingston

   Coach Canada departs daily from Toronto airport to Kingston and from Kingston to Toronto. Here are the following times.

   Train Option

   VIA Rail offers train service to Kingston from downtown Toronto. You would take the Toronto Airport Express bus or a taxi to Union Train Station. Please check out the VIA Rail website at www.viarail.com or www.viarail.ca for train times and costs.


   Transportation Information - Montreal Airport to Kingston

   Bus Option

   There is not an airport bus service directly from Montreal airport to Kingston as in Toronto. You would take L'Aerobus airport service (or a taxi) to the Montreal downtown central bus station located at 505 de Maisonneuve Blvd. Coach Canada provides service to Kingston.


   Train Option

   VIA Rail offers a complimentary shuttle from the airport to their DORVAL train station (approx. 1 km away). You would then take the train from Dorval to Kingston. Please check out the VIA Rail website at www.viarail.com or www.viarail.ca for train times and costs.
